Ultra-Modern Farm
The fees we charge you for renting developed farm space are derived from the cost we incur setting up the infrastructure on our farm. For example, a borehole drilled to 200 meters and fitted with a 5-7kw solar system can irrigate 4 acres of land consistently even during the driest season. Such a borehole costs around Ksh 3 million to establish. Paying Ksh 120,000 per acre annually (480k) to use the water for irrigation means you will farm for 6 to 8 years before you accrue a cost similar to setting up your own borehole.
Below is a more detailed brief on each type of fees charged so that you can understand how it is critical for your agribusiness venture.
You will pay to rent a well fenced piece of land, with deep soils, fully cleared of tree stumps and rocks. It can be virgin or previously tilled depending on when you rent. The land has a perfect gradient for mechanized land preparation.
You will pay to access a constantly expanding agribusiness infrastructure that will help you achieve your farming goals, protect your valuables and save you various costs. The infrastructure includes;
You pay for these as one package and access them whenever the need arises.
Doing farming while simultaneously working elsewhere is an interesting challenge. You never know how your crops or your employees are doing on a daily basis. If you pay for crop management, we assist you every day to ensure your agribusiness venture runs as expected. Our responsibilities include:
