Below is a more detailed brief on each type of fees charged so that you can understand how it is critical for your agribusiness venture.  

Land

You will pay to rent a well fenced piece of land, with deep soils, fully cleared of tree stumps and rocks. It can be virgin or previously tilled depending on when you rent. The land has a perfect gradient for mechanized land preparation.

Agribusiness Infrastructure

You will pay to access a constantly expanding agribusiness infrastructure that will help you achieve your farming goals, protect your valuables and save you various costs. The infrastructure includes;

  • Security installatons such as CCTV
  • Houses for your employees
  • Stores for safe-keeping of farm inputs or produce
  • Irrigation water sourced from a borehole and river
  • Large water reservoirs such as water pans and tanks
  • Pumping & piping sytems delivering water from reservoirs to your farm
  • Diagnostic equipment such as soil sampling kits
  • Power tools such as pumps, brush cutters and soil augers for various farm tasks

You pay for these as one package and access them whenever the need arises.

Crop Management (Optional)

Doing farming while simultaneously working elsewhere is an interesting challenge. You never know how your crops or your employees are doing on a daily basis. If you pay for crop management, we assist you every day to ensure your agribusiness venture runs as expected. Our responsibilities include:

  • Drafting farming timetables for each season
  • Monitoring your crop health
  • Taking periodic soil samples
  • Assessing & sourcing necessary farm inputs for you
  • Finding & supervising staff, laborers and professionals involved in your farm
  • Overseeing crucial tasks such as sowing, transplanting, plowing & harvesting
