Our Story

Espring Farm was founded with a simple vision: to remove the barriers that hold back ambitious farmers. Buying land, digging boreholes, installing irrigation systems, and finding skilled support is expensive and risky. We decided to make it easier — by offering ready-to-farm land with the tools and services that turn good ideas into plentiful harvests of delicious onions, juicy watermelons, crisp French beans, tomatoes, and any other horticultural product you have in mind.

The project started with a simple fence in 2021 to demarcate the land borders and offer protection against animals and trespassers. In 2022, we started building a store before proceeding to piped water installations and water pan construction in 2023. We further improved our water supply by drilling a borehole and installing a 5.8Kw solar array in 2024 to ensure a steady water supply for the farm. Further enhancements are planned for 2025, including the installation of pumps along the river running along the edge of the farm, a pumping station at the water pan, and WiFi cameras for continuous crop monitoring and general farm security.

The Farm

Our family-owned farm located in Ngobit, Laikipia, is a hidden gem nestled among a community of similar-sized neighboring farms! With several acres of fertile land available for rent, you’ll find the perfect setting to grow and thrive. Our deep, rich soils are complemented by a gentle elevation, creating an ideal environment for mechanized farming and adequate drainage. Plus, with direct access to a well-maintained tarmac road, you’ll enjoy year-round convenience and accessibility whether traveling by matatu or private means.
